A promo code is only useful if it works. Here’s exactly what we do before an offer goes live on DiscountDealsFind, and what the Verified badge means.
Before an offer is published
- We find the source. Offers come from store newsletters, official promotions pages, partner networks and codes submitted by shoppers. We prefer offers we can trace back to the store itself.
- We check the details. We confirm what the discount is, which products it applies to, any minimum spend, and when it ends.
- We test it where we can. For codes, we try them at checkout to confirm the discount is applied. Some codes are limited to new customers, specific regions or single use — when we can’t test a code ourselves, it isn’t marked as verified.
- We write it up plainly. The headline tells you the discount (“40% off”, “Free delivery”), and the details list the conditions.
What “Verified” means
An offer marked Verified has been checked by our team and was working when we last tested it. Offers without the badge come from reliable sources but haven’t been tested by us directly — they’re still worth a try.
Keeping offers fresh
- Every offer shows its expiry date, or “No expiry” when the store hasn’t set one.
- We review store pages regularly and remove offers that have ended.
- Reports from shoppers are checked first — if you tell us a code doesn’t work, we look at it straight away.
Why a code might not work for you
Even a verified code can fail if your basket doesn’t meet the terms. The most common reasons are a minimum spend, excluded brands or sale items, a code that’s limited to first orders, or a regional restriction. Check the offer details on the card before you check out.
